I used Cordell & Cordell for 9 months and all they did was show up to court and promise me it will get better before the end and take my money. I paid them almost $30,000 during this time and they never even filed a counter suit or filed the grievance against my ex-wife. I did all the research and prepared files needed for court. 3 times in court and mediation and all 3 times I was screwed because she didn't fight or make any points with the judge or mediator. She just answered their questions and said yes your honor and took my money with a smile. This place has accounts known as ever-green accounts. They take your money and make promises but absolutely do no work at all. My ex-wife and kids now live over 200 miles away and I am stuck paying child-support and alimony because I had no money left to hire a decent attorney..STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!! YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A NUMBER AND $$$$ TO THIS WHOLE LAW FIRM!!  Do research and find someone with a good track record and that will fight for you, your children and your needs. The legal system is already slanted to award the mother/wife what she wants so you must find a good attorney to stand a chance!!

$4600 for speaking with opposing counsel for a few hours outside of court (including a few phone calls).
Meeting with me.
And paperwork.

You can literally do more by yourself.

They hold the ridiculous amount they charge an hour over your head as if to force you into settling for whatever opposing counsel offers or else you will have to go to court and basically loose your entire years salary.

Horrible experience, what she did for me wasn't worth $1000, and now I'm paying 4xs that.

I'm so upset that anyone even referred me to them

My attorney (Eiko) very aggressively pursued the settlement that I wanted and drove the process insuring the other party wasn t running the show. She always had my back. I would recommend Eiko and Cordell & Cordell for your legal needs.

I really wish I never went here. I did more work then my lawyer did and when I went to a temporary child support hearing my lawyer just let the judge walk all over me. All she would ever say is "ok" he will do that. Even when I sent her documentation about how the amount of child support was making it impossible to pay my bill and a house going to foreclosure she still did nothing. I had to do the research to find out what I needed to do because she never would respond to any of my calls or emails but still charge me $26 for a phone call and $57 for any email. After everything she never did I get a letter saying she is withdrawingredients for my case. So I paid a $1800 retrainer fee for them to give me a child support I can't afford and nothing else. This place is horrible please don't go there. You have a better chance being your own lawyer.

If if you are a male run from this group of attorneys.  Unfortunately I was influenced by the hype and hoped there was some truth in advertising. Was that a mistake.  DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR BUSUNESS!!! You will regret it beyond anything you can imagine. Total waste of money!!!
