Nestled in the hills of the San Pasqual Valley in Escondido, you'll find Cordiano Winery, a family-owned and operated vineyard that takes pride in the craftsmanship of good wine and of the labor practiced for ages in the old country. The winery is a lifelong dream realized; a reflection of the love and passion of its proprietors, Gerardo and Rosa Cordiano.

The new menu is impressive. The view is unforgettable. Wine is very good, although pricey (like all the San Diego wineries). A great place to kick back and spend an afternoon.

Great location and views. Good for lunch dinner and events. The pizza is really good the prices are great. I did not try any of the wines but the people I was with liked the selection. They have heaters in the winter and blankets, if you ask for them. It gets windy so be prepared for that. My eleven year old also liked the food and running around playing bocce ball.

One of the best winery with amazing views. I went with my wife and daughter. We all had a amazing time. Watching the sunset from thr is priceless. The wine and food are also good. One con is the wait time for food and the line for ordering moves very slow. Reserve if your going on a holiday esp during the sunset time.

Pros: Amazing views; friendly, intelligent staff, and good tasting wine. Cons: Absurdly overpriced pizza. Additional comments on the pizza... for the price you'd expect top of the line pizza, but it was just okay a little greasy and the toppings were nothing special in terms of quality. Again, I don't mind spending top dollar on pizza because I LOVE pizza, but we just expected more for the $18 price tag for a 12 inch.

One of the best wineries in town. Beautiful scenery and views, great wine, and great food. Their pizzas are particularly good but I've heard good things about the pasta as well. Very friendly owners, too. Dog friendly!
