My father has passed three years ago. I found that they hold the most sincere compassion and professionalism. Their should be not fighting when a love one passes ,but we all know family can be difficult. I found that with my situation they were very helpful and intervened so I was able to do my grieving. If it was not for Tania I dont know what would had happened to me. So I would totally recommend this to be a final resting place. They were able to help an assist with a lot of unanswered questions. I found them to be very knowledgeable.

Cornell Memorial Home provided wonderful care to us when our Mother passed unexpectedly. During our time of greatest sorrow we were so very comforted by their gentle and compassionate way while they attended to every minute detail with grace and dignity. I can’t imagine the loss of a loved one without their knowledge and guidance. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

We are fortunate to have this wonderful resource in our community. Having attended services at Cornell over the years I knew they were very professional and compasionate and was comforted to know that when our family needed them most (when your Mother passed away) they were there for our family every step of the way. Tania and her staff are amazing. Arranging funeral services for a loved one is a very difficult task and during this time the staff at Cornell Memorial treated us with respect and dignity.

If you hate your family and want them to be treated with astonishing rudeness and contempt, this is the funeral home for you. At a recent funeral, I watched with horror as the wheelchair-bound sister of the deceased was trapped in an elevator at the church where the funeral was being held. Rather than get her out of the elevator, as she begged him to do, a Cornell employee called "Junior" yelled and screamed at her from outside the glass door on the elevator, jabbing his finger threateningly at her and her assistant who was also trapped in the elevator. The poor woman was completely traumatized at a time when she should have been treated with the utmost compassion. Bad enough she was burying her young sister; but to be screamed at by a bully who worked for Cornell, and who apparently had nothing better to do with his time than to pick on a poor woman in a wheelchair and her companion, is simply unconscionable. When he was confronted by her assistant after the funeral and offered the chance to apologize for his outrageous misconduct, he refused. When his boss was informed of the incident, she did nothing to redress the grievance. These people truly ought to be ashamed of themselves. If you expect to be treated with dignity and compassion, find another funeral home.
