Story

At a time when many funeral homes are owned and operated by impersonal corporations, Cortez Cremations & Funeral Services (FD-2243) remains family owned and operated. We feel strongly that we can best serve your family as an independent company that allows us to provide close attention to your family's needs.
We promise to guide families through the difficult task of planning final arrangements for loved ones. We promise to be there every step of the way, any way possible. We will help answer all your questions, and present options that work best for you and your family before making a final decision. We take pride in committing to personally know your loved one by their first name, not a case number. We want you and your family to feel at home with us.

Mission

Two daughters of an extraordinary and overwhelming strong mother, whom has been battling cancer since 2006, simply wanting to make a big difference in a small way when grieving and vulnerable families need it the most. Our inspiration, motivation and even business name, is in honor of our beautiful mother, Irene Cortez.
