The menu is pretty big, but they have always been consistent with the quality. I love the pupusas and the plantain chips are homemade and are to die for. Recommend trying the breakfasts. Very simple restaurant and the staff is super lovely, but gets very busy with online orders. An Omaha gem.
Oh my goodness - this is a hidden gem. It's an unassuming place, but the food will blow you away. The bean and cheese papusas are a MUST. They make the best cassava and plantains I've ever had. The meats are perfectly seasoned. Honestly, you can't go wrong. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are huge. Wonderful people working there too.
Not happy. I waited for my one pupusa & beverage as several people came in & picked up orders over a good 20+ minutes. I had to ask to see what was going on with my order. I got it after that. The pupusa was ok, but the atole de elote was from a mix. Artificial tasting. I have only had it homemade by Salvadoran people.Food: 3/5
Salvadorian food was great!! Mexican food not so much. But I would definitely go back for Salvadorian food in the future. The server can be a little more friendly.Food: 5/5
This is my favorite place in town for Papusas and Horchata. I used to go places for horchata and just kind of endured the flavor or texture, but this place has legitimately good horchata. I'll have to get the El Salvadoran horchata sometime as well. The papusas are consistently great and even reheat well, which is a bonus because my eyes are much bigger than my stomach. I'd highly suggest the corn papusas over the flour and the queso, revueltas, or bombas are my absolute favorites.
I don't know how this place has low ratings, my stomach still hurts because I couldn't stop stuffing myself on their delicious, fresh food. Their Sopa De Pata's the best!
Friendly staff, great salsa, and Papusas! What more can you ask for?!? I’m visiting for work from SoCal where Papusas are serious business so, finding such good ones here in Omaha was a great treat!
The pupusas are really good. The inside of the restaurant needs some upgrading, the walls where half painted and some of the lights were flickering.
Kind of a family owned dive, but I'm telling to, they have The Best papoosas in town.Food: 4/5
the food is excellent. the service not so much. i think it has to do with the lanuage barrier. i tried to call in an order & the person that answered didn't speak engilsh. i tried to say my order in english but not sure if the person understood. they ended up hanging up on me. so i went in person to put that order in. again the language barrier made it difficult. i did ended up getting my food. which again was excellent. would eat there more often if it wasn't so hard to put in an order.
