They closed the pharmacy right in front of me.

Did you get that? I'll write it again: THEY CLOSED THE PHARMACY *RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME*

I was dealing with a frustrating situation with my insurance company, and the absolutely incompetent pharmacist technician at the register did nothing to help explain the errors he was receiving on his end. So I was on the phone with insurance and I thought the problem was solved. He ran my information and told me, again, that my plan had expired. Then I called back and while I was wrapping up the call and had gone back to the counter, THEY CLOSED THE PHARMACY RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE. WHILE I WAS AT THE COUNTER. As I was standing there, the tech switched the register to "off." I watched all of this, not comprehending that it was actually happening.

This is medicine we're talking about. Prescription medication. If I didn't need it, a doctor wouldn't have written a scrip. But here I was, with several minutes to go before closing, watching them lock the service window and turn off the lights right in front of me. 

Maybe the pharmacy staff likes to beat the rush, so they don't have to wait in line as all of the Costco workers file out of the parking lot at the same time…?

Truly unbelievable. CVS is more expensive, but at least the customer service is heads and tails better than how I was treated at this Costco. So CVS will be getting my money from now on. It's worth the few additional dollars to avoid such spectacular unprofessionalism.
