Food is pretty good, my main complaint is that some of the food on the plate is lukewarm. I would suggest that they review the plating procedure in the kitchen so that the meal components all get served at desirable temperature. Cinnamon rolls and Huckleberry milkshakes are too die for. Good fresh veggies; do appreciate the freshness of the side dishes.

Fantastic food and large portions! The wait staff is always pleasant, although there have been some times where they seem to be short handed. I have never had a bad experience at this location. I grew up eating at black bears throughout California, so dining here definitely reminds me of home.

Seems to have gotten better each time I've visited.- looks like they are very intentional about constantly improving. Going as a kid in Bullhead City, this Cottonwood location reminds me of the same culture and feel- a nice familial environment. Food was excellent and workers were very friendly!

Granted, this place is RELATIVELY new, but I still don't think it excuses them from even half of their issues. I love the Black Bear in Mesa, AZ. The one in Cottonwood just can't get it together. I have given it 3 chances and every time they disappointed. Service: slow and inattentive, incorrect orders, unwillingness (at times) to make it right. Food: HUGE portions of mediocre food at best. Every time we've gone, someone in our party has had to send their food back: not made correctly, cold, tastes like it was fried in bad oil. Cleanliness: yes, I understand it's a restaurant, but the floor is always littered with food. Needless to say, I won't be going back any time soon. Maybe I'll give them another shot in a year... If they're still around.

Large portions, very unattentive wait staff. Lot of hype as with anything new, its been here for about 2 months and they need to re-energize the wait staff and speed of service. Definitely not better than any other diner, and less than a few in town. *****Second Time***** STILL VERY POOR SERVICE AND AVERAGE FOOD AT BEST, FIRE YOUR WAITSTAFF AND START OVER!!!
