Story

Cottonwood is a café in the morning, a bistro for lunch and dinner, and a bar with live music for the evening crowd. We intend to provide a comfortable social hub and fueling station for south downtown Lincoln with quality drinks, food and atmosphere.
Local art on the walls and live music add to the ambiance of this eclectic and charming addition to the south downtown. With bowling lane counter tops and comfortable custom seating you can enjoy our top quality espresso drinks or coffee. Both are made with only Fair Trade, Organic, Shade Grown beans from around the world provided by Grounds for Change. Or order from our unique menu of sandwiches, paninis, wraps, burgers and pastas that are all fully customizable for individual tastes. You can always pick up a light snack from the baked goods and desserts and a cup of Zhena’s Gypsy Tea.
Cottonwood will have something for everyone with a common theme of grassroots camaraderie. If you’re an early riser you can come get a light breakfast or customizable breakfast burrito. If you prefer the night life you can come get a drink and watch the nights’ entertainment. If you just need a comfortable place to study Cottonwood has large tables, high speed internet, and plenty of outlets (and USB ports!)
