All of the staff greet me when I come in. I used to go to NASB in Grandview and they had such a high turnover rate they all had to see my ID when I had been there for 13 years. Country Club Bank in Belton is where I am staying.

I moved my account from RGFCU in Belton because of some of the rude tellers (which are no longer there) to Allen Bank and Trust because I have always had good customer service from them even though I was not a customer. I have been there a year with an excellent history with them and have been pleased until June 2010. I cashed a check for one of my fellow employees, took cash from my account, and then tried to deposit his check into my account. I was not asking for the funds immediately and was willing to wait the 5-10 days for the money to clear. The head teller refused the check and said that I had to have the person with me with his ID before I could deposit it. I went to the bank the following day to talk to the Branch Manager, who was entirely too busy to be bothered by me, and was pushed off onto one of the other people sitting behind a desk. Still do not know her title because she never bothered to tell me. During the conversation I mentioned that I came to that bank because of the customer service and was made to feel that this check I was depositing was stolen. She assured me that was not the issue that it was for my protection and she did not mean to insinuate the check might be stolen just that the person who gave it to me may come back and say he did not sign the check, or in other words he may say it was stolen. AND THERE IT WAS! Long story short I am looking for another bank to do business with. One that I can go into and made to feel that I am family not an interest bearing account. I think I will try the Bank of Belton; I have heard good things about the bank and will be paying them a visit.
