They take great care of my two adopted shelter dogs. They even diagnosed and successfully treated my eldest puppy's cancerous tumor after the shelter vet told us she just had an extra nipple. Our sweet boxer mix is now super healthy and enjoying life. My husband and I couldn't be more grateful to the wonderful staff at Country Hill!

This place is by far the worst vetirinary clinic we have ever been to. We went into Country Hill with high expectations from reading all of the very positive reviews online, and when we walked in the door, all of the vet techs were extremely friendly and very welcoming. They made my puppy, my boyfriend, and I feel very at home and welcome. The part that we were not in favor of was the vet himself. When we walked into the examination room and the vet entered, he introduced himself, and then asked us to place our 8 week old puppy onto the table. At the time, she was having discharge from her vaginal area and we had told him about the issue. He didn't even take a minute to look at the area, he just gave her an antibiotic shot with the rest of her vaccinations. He also never did a thorough examination of her (didn't look in her ears, mouth, etc). When we then went to check her out, the bill was over $200. In my opinion, that is outrageous. All she had done was her 8 week vaccinations and had an antibiotic shot. After all of that, we still decided to give them another shot. The next time we took our puppy in was for her 16 week shots, and, again, for the discharge issue as it had not cleared up. This time, we came in, and, instead of a male vet, we saw a female vet. She was SO rude. Our puppy was squirming around on the table a little bit and instead of calming her down, she kept yelling at me to hold her still so she could look at her teeth. And then, knowing that my pup was squirmy, she still decided to place the vaccination needles right on the table with my dog on it. Well, she accidentally kicked one off of the table onto the floor, and the vet freaked out on me and my dog telling me very angrily to keep her still and that she almost punctured her foot-- Sorry, you weren't smart enough to place open needles away from my squirmy animal-- She then took my pup back into a room where I couldn't see her, but I could hear her and the vet. She was trying to get a urine sample, a sample of the discharge, and an ultrasound. During all of this, I could hear my dog crying as the vet was screaming at her to hold still and that it would go a lot faster if she would just listen. I felt so terrible for my little 16 week old baby, in an environment she was not familiar with whatsoever, being yelled at by someone she didn't even know. After the results came in negative for the tests, about 2 weeks later, and after spending $300, the vet told me there was no diagnosis, but to just wait until she goes into heat and the situation should resolve itself.--MY DOG WILL NOT GO INTO HEAT AS SHE HAS ALREADY BEEN SPAYED--This vet has NO idea what she is talking about. We will never return after the last visit. I have never felt so degraded nor have I ever felt so helpless for my poor baby girl. Your pets deserve so much better than this place and your money is best used elsewhere. We now go to a great vet in Eudora, KS. They are absolutely wonderful and treat my sweet girl with so much kindness. They diagnosed the discharge as puppy vaginitis, gave her a wash for it as well as a spray, and it cleared up in less than a week. They are also much cheaper!

My two dogs have seen Dr. Kristen Godsey since I adopted them over four years ago. She, and the staff, are always very caring and informative towards pets and their owners. You can typically get in for a visit day of or within a few days and they are accommodating if your pet has an emergency. Prices are reasonable, the staff is amazing, Dr. Godsey is the one to see!

Super friendly vets and they seem to genuinely care for my neurotic dog and grumpy cats.
