Best family restaurant I have ever been at. Food is delicious especially the rolls. not overly pricey since you get so much. the staff is great sometimes you can have a bad one but that is rare. I love this place and will go back for years to come

Great food, prompt service, plenty of room not cramped. Very pleasant waitresses. Great pastries and desserts. Check it out, home cooking. Yummy!

Staff was friendly and fast. Food was delicious except for the fish chowder. I found it was not creamy enough and lacked favor. Coconut pie is to die for!

Great food and great service. Salad bar needs work. Romaine lettuce instead of iceberg, please. I'll happily pay the difference

Pretty good so far for what it is. Friendly staff, private parking lot. Onion rings were pretty good. Menu was more extensive then we had thought and only one item on it was over $20!!! Wow- shocker for this NYer and a very pleasant one. As you walk in there is a wall with local papers from various people posting wanted for sale or activities. Very good croutons at the salad bar. Each table is set with paper place mat with local ads, ketchup, tartar sauce, creamer , butter, salt pepper and sugar. Our waitress was very nice. The inside had more of a cafeteria feel to it or food hall. The complimentary rolls were very soft and warm. Cole slaw was not overly sweet, which was good. The fries were tasteless. Red hot dog was good- but I've never had one before so I can't really judge. Chicken pot pie was very good and the steak tips with bourbon sauce was pretty good. All around a very filling and satisfying meal for our first sit down meal in Maine. Although not fine dining it was very fitting for the setting. Now off to the camp fire!- liked it so much we came back for breakfast... Well that and the lack of other options. They had all you can eat breakfast on the weekends for under $8!!! Prices can't be beat.
