Newer Courtyard; rooms are updated and comfortable. Location is within 30 minutes of Milwaukee, depending on traffic. Area around hotel is composed mainly of warehouses, manufacturing facilities and businesses. Not a lot of dining options in the immediate area, but a good location to stay if you would like to be within easy commuting distance of Milwaukee attractions without staying right in town. Ample parking. Easy access to Hwy 41 or 43 (hotel is about halfway between them). Handicap accessible. Small swimming pool and hot tub. Small deli/restaurant with limited hours. Serves Starbucks coffee and has a small selection of wine and beer.

The renovation turned out really well! The rooms feel rather stylish now, and I like the curtain-free showers, rather than the shower-tub combos they used to have. I think only one elevator was working, which was a problem in the morning, when housekeepers were using it to move their carts. Fortunately it's just a three-floor hotel, so using the stairs wasn't a problem.

A friend and I requested a different room with extra space and they handled it right away. Everything in the room is modern and we'll kept. I was very impressed. And we had a HUGE balcony that actually had furniture on it. The lobby also had much to offer from a restaurant and lounge area to a spot to get simple amenities. I would highly recommend this place to any one.

Just called to get a quote for September. I am a Silver Elite rewards member. Based on the experience I had on the phone and the price point for this area, I'll go elsewhere. I could barely understand the gentleman on the phone. He goes on about non refundable rates and such. The quote price was between $146-$175 a night. I'll happily pay that for some locations, but not this one. This is well below my usual Courtyard experience.

While the exterior of the hotel shows a bit of age, the interior seems to be recently renovated. Staff was very friendly at check in. Room is clean and spacious. The TV could use an upgrade. The bed was comfortable. The hotel doesn't have much going on in the immediate area but a 10 minute drive yields many food options.
