I stayed here while their "system was down" and the staff treated me like I was the biggest inconvenience. It was a hassle to even put my card in to reserve the room. When I wanted to purchase something from their store she asked if I wanted to put it on my room, I said no, and she laughed and said "of course. Well then do you want to use cash or card?" I said "whatever is easier," which she responded "neither is easy for me so just pay with whatever." Hospitality skills 0/10. Glad I was only there for 1 night. However the rooms were very clean and beautiful.

The Courtyard in Traverse City has awesome front desk and housekeeping staff. Very informative, friendly and professional. Loved my daughter's room I rented for her birthday and will definitely stay here in the future

Great location; close to everything. Very nice room; felt like new. Very pleasant and courteous staff. Very clean.

When I arrived, there was a short line at check in. I was in no hurry, but an off duty desk clerk happened to be getting ready to leave, and after apologizing to the three of us standing there about her attire (Jeans and T-shirt), she proceeded to check in those of us waiting in line. This woman was not on the clock, and didn't owe us anything, but took it upon herself to ensure we were attended to immediately. I am already impressed at this point, but after checking in I immediately head to inspect my room. As a former housekeeper for several high end resorts, my expectations are pretty high. This room was immaculate, the shower head was deposit free, and had been regularly cleaned and maintained. There wasn't so much as a small streak on the glass shower doors. I was very happy with my accommodations. After about 2 hours, I received a phone call about a family emergency, and the woman at the front desk was quick and very professional. She quickly ensured that I had not created any mess in the room, and proceeded to refund my money entirely. I was very very impressed with my entire, albeit short, visit. I will be staying here in the future. Thank you Courtyard Marriott Staff.

From the first hello at check in to the last good bye hope to see you again the experience was amazing. The room had a walk in shower and balcony . Comfortable couch. The pool and hot tub were perfect temperature. The breakfast fatatta and french toast were the best. The staff were like family making every effort to see we were comfortable. We will stay there again when in Traverse City.
