I've been using him for three years and never had any problems at all. He is kind, courteous and very capable. He has explained many elements of the tax code to me and offered advice on how to limit my tax liabilities. I strongly recommended Mr. Cousins.

My father used Cousins and Associates for many years and things were good until Tom Cousins Sr. retired and his son Tom Jr. took over most of the day to day business. Since then, their service has been terrible i.e. not responding to emails or messages and they have messed up mine and my parents returns resulting in paying interest and penalties to the IRS. DO NOT USE this company - it was once a very good accounting firm but I would never recommend them again.

DO NOT HIRE THIS ACCOUNTANT/BUSINESS.

My experience with them:

At first they seem lovely, talk you through everything they do, and offer free consulting and so forth.  The accountant there is very friendly, but this is a farce.

After hiring this group and paying a substantial fee, I have not since been able to get ahold of them for advice or any other matter.

My calls and messages go ignored for weeks, meetings are cancelled by them or completely flaked on, and getting sound accounting advice is near impossible.

There are several other accounting firms in the area, I highly recommend going with one of them.  Do not waste your time here.
