Best place in the Fire Service in St. Tammany Parish. The city of Covington has top tier pay, firefighters and captians are unlike any others that will go above and beyond for their people. The administration from the Secretary to the Chief Mrs. Kimmi to the Assistant Chief Michell to the Chief of Investigations and Fire Prevention Chief Ard and Chief Blocker they are first class and many year of Knowledge. Their growing adaptability and willing to listen and move forward to change in the fire service is what every firefighter wishes for. " not everything is traditional here because saving lives and understanding that's the lives lost or injured were written in blood! So it's great to have an administration that is Proactive rather than retroactive.
