Story

Established in 1951, Covington Memorial Cemetery in Ft Wayne, Indiana is located east of Emmaus Lutheran School, two miles from Sycamore Hills Golf Club and the Chapel Church at Covington and Hamilton Roads. The grounds feature various gardens and statues, eight mausoleums, and a pond with gazebo.

In 1988, Covington Memorial became one of the first of its kind in the state of Indiana to address the needs of the bereaved by combining a cemetery and funeral home in one convenient location.

Office staff is downright rude and cold. We understand that this past weekend (Mother’s Day) is one of their busiest, but being treated as if our grandmother/mother’s death was inconvenient for them in our time of grief is UNACCEPTABLE. Unfortunately, not everyone can make an appointment for death.
