One of the few restaurants that serves tasty fresh vegetables. Their string beans are heavenly.  Real mashed potatoes, pealed and clean of skin or eyes. (leaving the skins on mashed potatoes is gross and a sign of laziness) The menu doesn't change much but what they have is very good. They give a generous cocktail and the servers are pleasant and efficient.

The food and drink are very good. When an error is was made by the staff, they tried to deny it and avoid fixing it. It was rude and unprofessional even if the general demeanor was nice.

Went there to eat after funeral. Food was very good. Waitress staff also very quick n polite. Would go again. Also NICE BAR AREA.

Food and drink was very good.
Service not so much because our waitress was distracted buy a couple of fellows apparently she knew or wanted to.
By the time we left she was off-duty but her replacement was outstanding.
I don't believe in rewarding slow service and distracted waitresses with large tips so unfortunately her replacement suffered the consequences
My wife and I were celebrating Valentine's Day and had a good time  despite the flaws but we will not be returning anytime soon.
So many restaurants to choose from in Rhode Island that we will move on to other places.

I've been going to Cowessett Inn for years!  The food is consistently good.  The staff are always friendly and I like the atmosphere.   Very relaxed dining experience.
