Good corner store. But exspensive gas

There has to be something unholy about having a liquor store attached to a gas station. It was getting close to 9:00 PM, so I stopped at this dank little place to get my fix. It was dimly lit and bit creepy, and it felt like I was entering the den of sin from the outside.  Was I going to make it out of here alive?

When I opened the old door, much to my surprise the liquor store was spacious, immaculately clean, and a cheerful, attractive young lady was at the counter eager to help me out.  I'm pretty sure there were angels singing the Hallelujah chorus, too.  There was a wide assortment to choose from.  OK, not compared to Spec's downtown, but compared to most small liquor stores, this one is definitely a step up.  And unlike other small liquor stores who tack on a couple extra dollars to each bottle, the prices at Coyote were comparable to Spec's.

Now if the girl at the counter had been dressed in a short skirt and handing out free samples, this place would get 5 stars. LOL

This is a quaint little shop in the back of the Coyote/Chevron near South Shore Harbor Convention Center and Resort. You pull in and drive around to the right side in the back and there it is. The woman who runs the place is from India and very friendly. Most of the people in the area know her and she knows them. They have most of the common liquors and some of the more exotic. You aren't going to find the variety you would at Spec's but you will find a warm and friendly greeting and as much help as you could possibly want. Occasionally, I go somewhere else for my bar stock but I always come back to Coyote and the friendly people there. I rated them with 4 stars. Their selection isn't huge but their hospitality and friendliness are off the scale.
