This used to be a great company and I would praise them any chance I could but for at least a couple years it has been awful. I have notified them to cancel my account months ago but they continue to grab money out of my account every month. I was paying for a premium package and was working on a new website with them more by myself. That site I was working on disappeared and my site that was up and running and change back to basically the default. I spent hours trying to tweak it. I would check it sometimes and the color schemes were not the same on every page. The company used to care about it's small clients. Now they just contact you to sell you more stuff that used to be free. Also a couple of years ago a tax preparer in my area was given the same website template I had. This preparer was in the same town as me. I am usually very nice but when you just keep taking money from me I get upset. I am a sole proprietor I can't afford to be robbed. So if you don't mind being jacked and having the same boring website as half the accountants in your area CPA Site Solutions is for you.

Great firm. Very responsive. Reasonable price. Work with Michelle Thibault - could not ask for a better rep. She is always responsive and very knowledgeable on the product and how to modify the website to help ensure it puts my best foot forward. Highly recommended.

Just went to the new office yesterday and it is so beautiful and serene and even more "CPASS-ey" than ever before, and even still has some familiar faces. Awesome space, awesome place.

I cannot say enough good things about CPA Site Solutions. Our Account Manager, Michelle, is always available to strategize and present new ideas for us to increase our client base. The customer support team is quick to respond to all requests for website changes and helping us to better learn the platform. They know accounting and you'd be hard pressed to get more for your money elsewhere.

First, there was a bit of a bait and switch between the trial period and the product for which we were actually billed. At first, they were extremely helpful and personable. We went through the trial period and were going to move forward with the base service; however, when we were actually billed, we were up-charged for added features that we had not initially planned to receive. The on-boarding was a long process and not something we could dedicate a ton of time to immediately. A couple of months passed, we realized we had never found the time to get our site live and yet we were consistently being billed (more than planned) and we decided we'd rather spend our money elsewhere. We emailed CPA Site Solutions to cancel on September 5th and, strangely, they would not agree to cancel our service until they spoke with the owner of the company directly. The fact that an authorized user on the account (the IT manager) contacted them to cancel the service was insufficient. The owner ignored their phone calls because she didn't believe she had any additional business with them. When they finally got through to her they informed her that they could not cancel the service until she had signed a specific form. The form was not emailed to the owner (and IT manager) until September 22. Why couldn't they have simply emailed the required form when they received the cancellation email on September 5th? Why did they need to engage in an actual telephone conversation with the owner before they could email a form? Stranger still, they never required the owner's signature to charge the card, nor did they need to speak with the owner to add services that were not previously specified. When the form was finally emailed, it listed additional limitations regarding when they would and would not accept cancellation requests. If you want to cancel the service on a Friday and the following Monday is the last day of the month, well, you're out of luck. They won't accept cancellations over the weekend, on holidays, and if they don't receive the form at least 5-7 days prior to the end of the month, they will still bill you on the 1st, regardless. I don't see how you can agree to charge a card without a signature, an amount greater than initially agreed upon, and without written consent (as they only spoke with the IT manager) but, you can continue to charge the card until you 1) speak with the owner personally and 2) get the owner's signature on paper dated in a very particular manner. I am an accountant by trade and, specifically, my expertise lies in Accounts Receivable and Billing. I can tell you with great authority that the manner of billing in which this company engages is considered unethical and predatory. Caveat Emptor.
