The Crab-N is a Cajun influenced seafood restaurant opened by the Brooks family in 1976. Famous for its Crab and Shrimp Bisque and homemade sauces, it has been featured in many publications including Southern Living, Texas Monthly, Travel and Leisure and the San Antonio Express-News. With 99% of all food prepared from scratch, the Crab-N has a unique ability to accommodate those with dietary restrictions including gluten intolerance.

Loved the view. Service was great. Granddaughters and I loved our dishes. Pasta with shrimp. 2 Fried Soft Shelled Crab Plate and Shrimp Plate oh and the Calamari appetizer even  the great  grandbabies  enjoyed. Let's not forget the rolls were delicious. Will go back again. 
And yes some plates may be pricey but where do you find inexpensive good cooked seafood. Definitely not on the Oceanside.

The pecan crusted flounder was a bit pricey but well worth it. It had a delicate taste and was cooked to perfection.  It was also not a small portion as other reviews have mentioned. Really a 4.5 star review.

Pricey, cheapest dish is $16. Waited awhile for our food, portion sizes are just right. Tasty food. Beautiful view.

Too much money for food that lacks taste. $ 25.00 for a steak that's the size of a childs portion. A sirloin that is 3 inches round. All portions were very small, shrimp, scallops and pasta for the money. Tasteless. Took one hour to get our food. The plating was terrible, looked like leftovers from someone else's plate. Very lacking. Will never go again.

Great fried catfish and sweet potato fries. Save room for key lime pie!
