Probably one of the most uncomfortable settings to walk in to. The cashiers just stare blankly as you approach the counter. No greetings. No "hello" or "how are you?" Just rude, snobby, and unwelcome stares. As they are cashing you out there is no attempt for conversation or friendliness..but if the cashiers do speak it is usually in a rude manor. Even at the end of the transaction as customers are leaving the store there is no "have a nice day" or even a "thank you"! Over all just terrible customer service! Look, everyone is stuck at a job they don't really like, but the truth is you have to work! If you sit there all miserable and obviously put out the vibe that you don't want to be at work, then yeah of course your job is going to suck! Smile more. Tell people hello more. Say "thank you" and "have a nice day" and then maybe..just maybe you won't have to suffer and spend each day of your miserable life working at a "miserable" job that you obviously suck at all because of your miserable attitude.

I wouldn't even give this place one star. What a joke. I go in with my VALID drivers license only to be denied and accused of having a fake ID by an older man at the counter. I called the manager with every intention of being polite and to make her aware of the issue (working at a gas station and retail store I know this happens) only to be rudely interrupted by the manager and say my ID was card board which it was not! Seriously if they're going to accuse every out of state license as being fake you're going to loose business. I apologize for my rude words but seriously I did not deserve to be accused like that. I am 26 years old not 16 I have better things to do with my time then try to scam someone with a fake ID. Learn your customers. I used to come all the time, but now I will no longer come there. I have never been treated so poorly before and best stop will get the remainder of my business here.

Cracker Barrel is the only one the once your driver license to scan it so they can put in their computers that sure is a lot of private information just to buy a cigarette

They have a worker older man that works nights that is VERY RUDE his name is jimmey horrible person!!!!!!!!!! So I buy a lotto ticket and he sells is it to me and I win on it so go back in he says u can't cash it in till six in the am ( with a attitude ) so I say on no problem but it would b nice to tell other customers that b4 u sell them it if they can not cash them . He then says I don't have to leave the store I said sir u don't have to be rude he then said leave my store so I then say ok no problem but I can get your name and talk to a manager he then says you can talk to the manager at 6 o'clock in the morning I said ok can you give me the name of the district manager of the stores he says I don't have to give you that information now leave my store I said okay that's fine I will talk to them tomorrow have a nice night he said you just mad because I kicked your fiance out of here I said no sir not my fiance you might be thinking of someone else he says no leave my store or I will call the law I said that's fine so I will talk to the district manager and get all this straight because this is ridiculous I will never go back to that store again until that man has more respect for his customers or lose his job cuz I'm there on the regular basis I'm there almost everyday actually and spend a lot of money there I feel I should be treated with more respect than that being a regular loyal customer
