Average meal and service. Nice waitstaff today. Cracker Barrels though need some refreshing. The old country store with the antique signage is so tired looking. The store is super crowded to even move around. Staff need some new uniforms. Need to hire a team of interior designers to freshen up the image of the restaurant. Restaurants will seem cleaner and more aligned with the times. Couldn’t you select some pilot restaurants and try a new concept? Menu doesn’t need to change really, just work on consistency from restaurant to restaurant. It is true you can have a fabulous meal at one and barely edible at another. Managers should be held accountable for this. We have stopped eating at our neighborhood CB because of the poor QC. But when we travel we seem to have a better experience. We want to be able to get that home cooked meal at times when you just don’t have time to do it yourself, CB can fill this void in the restaurant world out there, but in its current state it seems like it is not keeping up with the times.

So delicious! I hadn't had cracker barrel in years before we stopped in last week for a late breakfast. The service was great, the young man that waited on us was very nice and effecient. The food was so good. I had pancakes, eggs and bacon and there was absolutely nothing wrong with my meal. The coffee was really good too. I love the country store too and of course found myself shopping and buying things after my meal. Before we left, we sat outside in the rocking chairs talking with friends to end the trip and I love that they have those available to wait to be seated or to have after dinner conversation with friends/family before you depart. Great experience and I won't with years before I visit again this time

Comically bad. When we ate here we had three waitresses going from table to table asking if they had ordered the food in their hands. All three of them had plates full of food in their hands. They somehow had lost track of which tables had ordered what in the restaurant and literally three tables had the wrong food placed in front of them at the same time. I would excuse that as a fluke but the communication between the waiters made it apparent that this was not a one-off thing. The food wasn't even that good and the prices were high. And out of personal preference the tourist shop in the front of the restaurant where you have to wait in line to pay is a bit trashy. I don't see any reason to go here, unless you have some sentimental connection with Cracker Barrel. On a positive note the peg game is fun.

I ordered breakfast here like I always do at any other CB. It was dinner time and my wife ordered fish which she had a few weeks prior at the CB in Ooltewah Tn. It was fantastic there but this time it was barely cooked and spongy. The bacon on my plate was not cooked either. It was like they pulled it from the pack drug it across the fryer while it never left their hand. I won't be returning!! Lucky to have made it without food poisoning ☠ in my book. Eat at your own risk!

Our server "K" had an attitude when we arrived. One drink, and food was put in then brought out. Only saving grace was that the good was great, and we actually didn't need service because the server was M.I.A during the length of the meal. As we waited for the check with empty plates and drinks the server dropped the bill off and didn't ask how anything was. Not pleased. No manager present, and if there was he or she did not care about customer service or interacting with guest. Will not return.
