Weekends are busy for brunch, especially on Sundays. Love the cornbread and biscuits, be sure to ask for fresh baked. Service is slow when busy. Travel crowd from interstate..be aware.see a bus run or be ready for not as fast service. Staff is nice. Clothes and unique items for sale in store.

Love Cracker Barrel.   Comfort food at its best.  Great breakfasts.  Great coffee.  Great prices.  When you're done stuffing yourself,  you can go shopping in their store.  Just look for them when you travel, and you will get a decent meal at a decent price.

We came here at around nine o'clock and were here almost until closing and never once got the sense of being hurried, pressured or ignored. The staff were all amazingly friendly. The food came quickly and was hot and delicious. The server brought us extra biscuits, sauces, and at least one side refill with no extra charges. I had a special, an extra side, sweet tea and dessert for twenty bucks and change before tip. The side shop is full of cute and fun things among the useless junk, and they have a great array of old fashioned candy and weird sodas. (Six kinds of cream soda!) Great experience.

Visited around 9:30pm on a Friday with both Kings Dominion's Haunt and the Virginia State Fair right down the road. Restaurant was about half full. We were saddened to find that they were out of the cod for 'Fish Fry Friday', as well as baked potatoes. Still, the food and service was good. Very friendly staff. Will visit again.

We stopped here to meet up with my nephew on our way to NC. The food and overall place was great. We even stopped here a week later on our way back to MD! It's right off Hwy 95 so it makes it an easy on and off access for Great food and also has a wide range variety store..  A little bit of everything.
