I went for the first time in my life a few months ago and I absolutely loved it. There was a line to get seats, but we got to sit outside and play a giant game of checkers while we waited. Once we got seats we were served quickly and the food was phenomenal. The best country food I have ever eaten and I still had some for leftovers the next day. I can't wait to go back again.

The place was packed on a Monday holiday for brunch. Our service was a little slow after a long wait. But the food is really good southern home style cooking. It's also a little strange to be waiting in chairs for sale and having to go through the gift shop to enter/exit. Late lunch time is a good time if you want to avoid the crowds.

The staffs at the restaurant and store were extremely friendly and helpful. Our server, Jamal delivered our meals with outstanding service! We love his positive attitude. Of course, our food was delicious too, we had breakfast entrees; country boy with pork chops and a smaller entree with biscuit, fried apples and home fries. All cooked with perfect seasoning and flavors. Wished we more Cracker Barrel restaurants in Northeast  region.

Stopped for dinner.  My partner ordered the Old Timers Breakfast.   Her meat selection was sausage which when she took a bite tasted very bad.  Made her stomach turn.   I tried a small piece and it tasted very very bad and had a foul smell.  Like a petroleum product was on it.  They did take her meal off the bill after I got the manager back for the second time.  You have lost us as a customer and we would not recommend this place to anyone. This is the third time we have had bad food at this restaurant.

I love the country store!  Very charming decor and many unique gifts and treasures!     Food good also and could be made better by offering a baked potato without an extra charge!  That extra charge every time I want a baked potato, cost them a ⭐.......
