I'm giving the salon 3 stars because while the color I received was nice, the customer service could use some improvement. I tried the salon two times; once with a Groupon and a second time at full price.  The main issue I had was that I explained I am on a strict budget and have alloted a certain amount for hair coloring and need to stay within that range because I prefer to leave a 20% tip as well. The stylist seemed a little turned off that I was talking about staying within a budget and she really didn't offer any options to stay within the budget (do face frame every other visit,etc).  after the color, she had another stylist wash me and do a very basic towel dry. As I mentioned, it was not in my budget to get a blowout. Honestly I don't mind not getting a blowout, but the stylist simply abandoned me to work on her next client. I have been getting my hair colored for over 20 years and I have never left a salon with my hair dripping before. Plus, it was chilly and raining outside. I did not expect a full blowout, but a courtesy 1 minute blow would have been appreciated. I would have asked the stylist but she was with the other client. She didn't even check my hair to make sure the I was happy with the color.  Very unprofessional in my opinion. With such high concentration of salons in the area, I will look for somewhere with a little more care towards the client. Again. The color and face frame was nice, and Avenda products are great products.

Absolutely my highest recommended hair salon to go to, when a new hair cut is what you want, done correctly!  If you want your stylist to focus on your hair, and not too much YOU, definitely go to Stewart & Company Salon.  

Before trying out Stewart & Company, I had out grown my hair for my wedding, so that it could be easily styled on the day.  After my wedding, I wanted my hair cut BACK to my favorite A-line bob, and was DREADING the cut.  Because before deciding to grow it out, I was traumatized by going to a Great Clips where my stylist used an electric CLIPPER, to create the style I wanted.  After my first wash, I saw many flaws to the technique, and my hair never fell the way I desired. 

After a long search, and a lot of reliability put on the line, I decided to pay big bucks, to hopefully have it cut right, which was done right here in this salon.  I had the Owner, Catherine Stewart, cut my hair, and I tell you... She cut my hair dead silent, no talk.  Awkward?  No, because all her concentration was put into cutting my hair, instead of trying to personally connect with me, until at the end of the cut, where I learned of her passion for using Aveda products and their support for TRULY NATURAL botanical care.  Although it was about a $70 cut, I, along with every customer I've seen walk out with a smile, think it's worth it.  Thank you!

Everyone was very friendly and professional. Joelle listened to me and gave me a great hair cut. You can't really ask for much more than that! I will be returning.
