Crary Art Gallery, Inc., was established in 1977 as a nonprofit art gallery by painter Genevieve Walker Crary in memory of her husband, industrialist, philanthropist, and photographer Clare Crary.
The Crary Art Gallery is dedicated to promoting the fine arts by bringing noteworthy art to the region and highlighting the art produced and collected by the Crarys. The Permanent Collection includes early and mid 20th-century paintings and prints, Japanese silkscreens, and photographs by Edward S. Curtis. There is an extensive inventory of Gene and Clare's own paintings and photographs, some of which are always on display at the gallery.
The Crary Art Gallery also hosts changing temporary exhibitions, lectures and events. The facility can be rented for weddings and private functions.
A volunteer run gallery dedicated to bringing professional artists to the regional community, connecting people with the art.
