We ordered the family platter with mild seasoning, and the food was truly finger licking good. The seafood, every piece of it, was crunchy fresh. The corns, sausages, and potatoes were cooked just right. We put on our bibs and gloves and dived into the best seafood dinner we have enjoyed for a long while! The decor and the services were great too! I truly recommend this restaurant if you crave for good Cajun style seafood!
The lunch prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. I only decided to try the shrimp. It was not good at all. No seasoning on the seafood. The Cajun sauce does not taste good and it’s very oily. I wanted to love this place, but I guess, I will continue to drive to Arlington and Forth Worth for good seafood when I don’t feel like making my own.
Craving Crab has excellent seafood. The restaurant is bright and clean. Very friendly staff. The portions are large and have great flavor. In my opinion, it was slightly overpriced, but still very good. I'm sure we will return in the near future.Food: 5/5
My husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner! The service was above and beyond, the food was the best meal we have had in months!!! Love all the options for seasoning, the atmosphere was great, decor right on point and very family friendly! Definitely a great choice if you like sea food or Cajun style seafood! Not one complaint or suggestion to give it was perfect!
Today was the grand opening. We had the Family platter that cost $220. It came with plenty of seafood. We order the mild seasoning. The flavor was amazing, not too spicy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall great food but pricey. They are still working on the liquor license.
You know those moments when you are craving seafood and you see a new seafood joint open? You don’t expect nothing more than deliciousness, mouthwatering, savory food. That’s not what we got. First was the long wait, it being a new business we understood that. Then we got our food and decided to sit in the parking lot and eat. I’m so glad we did. The ice teas were the best part of the meal, unfortunately. If you are looking for a meal with great taste this is not the place to go. Unless you bring your own seasoning. The scallops were raw. Chef Ramsay would’ve been disappointed when the scallops were piping hot and raw, and the fried shrimp was cold and rubbery. The french fries stated on the menu that they were Cajun fries. Except there was no Cajun seasoning. It was your standard french fries. The calamari had no taste either. So, I took the meal back to the restaurant and I asked to speak to the person in charge of food being returned and everybody turned their heads to look for somebody because they weren’t sure. A young lady came to my aid and I shared with her to please let the kitchen know that it is unhealthy to serve raw scallops. I went on to tell her about the rest of the food. I told her about the lack of seasoning on the calamari and she said that the calamari did not come with seasoning. I suggested it should be stated in the menu that the calamari would be bland. She seem bothered that I brought the food back and that I was concerned about the condition of the food. Snobbishly she asked me if I wanted to take the scallops back to the kitchen and cook them longer and I said no I want my money back and that seem to bother her even more. So she gave me $13. The meal was $12.99. Now either she didn’t know that tax was to be included or she didn’t know how to calculate returning the tax on $12.99. At that point I wasn’t even going to bother pushing the envelope and I left.
Great service, delicious food! Even on a busy Friday, no issues! We had calamari, fried crab, crab legs and lobster tail!
Amazing customer service and the food was amazing! I love the decorations inside and all of the cute statues to take photos infrount of. 100% will come here again.
Drive 40 minutes to try the crab. I ordered the 1/2lb shrimp and 1/2lb snow crab. Came with 2 red potatoes, 1/2 corn on cob and boiled egg. I ordered with mild garlic butter the shrimp were large but flavorless and were drowned in chopped garlic and butter. Very messy to eat but they do give you gloves. The crab was a small body with 1 medium tentacle and 3 small. All the food was precooked and had been sitting in liquid so it was mushy. The crab shell too soft to crack so only way to eat was to try to slice it. The plastic tool they furnished didn’t work very well. No cocktail fork furnished. It was not enjoyable. Husband had fried catfish that I tasted and it was good. The fried sweet potatoes were not crisp. We had appetizer of calamari and the large rings were like chewing rubber. For the $66. Price and have to fight with food, drive a fair distance, I’ll not return.
Everything about our visit was exceptional! The food was outstanding, our waitress was polite and friendly, and the atmosphere was calm and quiet. To top it off, the manager offered us two compliments t-shirts during our checkout! Score!Food: 4/5
