this is such a cute lil spot, i love the decor & aesthetics. the employees were rlly nice : my bf and i ordered the bacon egg & cheese bagel and the house salad and they were delicious!! i was actually amazed by how good the bagel was Food: 5/5
Super cute place! They had a really good bakery section, and everything was good, but they sort of messed up our order and we were waiting for so long to get it that we didn't have time to wait for them to fix it. But I'd say the atmosphere was cool and it was a combo of a lot of different vibes. I prefer sitting outside when I come! Vegetarian options: Don't have to get meat on the sandwiches. They are still good without, and you can get some good eggs in there for protein.
Simple menu but great bagel options for breakfast! Comfortable environment in historic downtown Tuscaloosa
Best Cuban sandwich ever. Everything we had was great. Keep up the good work to owner and teammates!Food: 5/5
Adorable place. Went for the GF bagels and they were sold out so had to leave. Lesson learned - get there earlyService: 4/5
One word. WOW! I read about the lobster roll and it was delicious. I couldn't believe the gigantic chunks of REAL lobster I had to take a picture. The lobster mac and cheese was very flavorful with big lobster chunks in it just look at the picture below. You have wonderful, friendly folks, great atmosphere plus very fast service and you got yourself a must go to place to eat.
It really pains me to write this review, because I've been a loyal customer for some time now and the experience for the most part has been fantastic... until today 4/20/22. I stopped in for a quick breakfast sandwich before going to class. The lady prepping my sandwich was toasting my bagel, but while that was toasting she took the proteins eggs, cheese, sausage and placed the overflowing spatula ON A SHELF ABOVE THE OVENs. There was nothing protecting the food from the shelf either. She loaded the proteins onto the spatula and placed it on a more than likely very dirty shelf right in front of me. And of course, she is serving two people in front of me who order a bagel sandwich like I did, but she puts their proteins on a paper plate. This is completely unsanitary and I'm pretty sure is a direct violation of certain health codes. Unfortunately because of this I no longer feel comfortable eating at this establishment and will be taking my business elsewhere unless changes are made. Also apologies for my finger being in front of the camera, I had a very small window to take a picture for evidence. I normally am not the type to raise hell about food service but this is just downright disgusting.
I like cravings. Little bagel and sandwich shop. Nothing too fancy but still a cool little shop. If I'm downtown I like to grab a water or a soft drink from here versus going to the convenience store as well...Food: 5/5
brisket egg and cheese croissant. i really don’t need to say anything else so yummy and great music!Food: 5/5
They have great bagel egg sandwiches. Used to have an amazing bottled beer selection but it’s definitely gone downhill after a change in ownership. Service is pretty fast! Limited fresh coffee options, but they do have some bottled coffees as well. Big fan of this place for the bagels.
