I ordered a birthday cake for my hubby who is a big Boston Bruins fan .. I took a picture of one I found online.. and the cake turned out picture perfect! The Cale itself was absolutely delicious ..dark chocolate with Cherry filling.. I highly recommend anyone who looking for a beautiful and delicious cake to order from this establishment!

My dear friends had a cake made for my 30th birthday from creative cakes this past weekend. It was by far the prettiest, most delicious cake I've ever seen. Their attention to detail was remarkable and the flavorful chocolate and raspberry cake itself was a crowd pleaser for sure. I'll be using creative cakes for all my future cake and candy needs. Thank you to dawn and her crew again!

My experience with Creative Cakes was with a cake I had ordered for my bridal shower. The cake I ended up getting was beautifully decorated. It was winter themed and they definitely pulled this off! The frosting looked like snow and had some shimmery snowflakes on it. This is where the positives end. The cake I ordered was requested to be gluten free. I am well aware that gluten free baked goods can be on the dense and dry side. However, after cutting into the cake, the center was just crumbs - basically dust-like in texture. It was extremely dry and pretty much inedible. Most of my guests took one bite and ate no more. For this cake to have come from a professional bakery, to say I was extremely disappointed would be an understatement. I have had bad, good, and amazing gluten free cakes. This cake was abysmal. I would not recommend using creative cakes for your event, especially if you need to use alternate flours. I gave an extra star because the only positive was the presentation on the outside of the cake. So if this is all you care about, go ahead and book them. If flavor is more important, avoid at all costs because with what they charge it would be equivalent to throwing money in a trash can.

Our cakes and cupcakes were beautiful and delicious but taking a star off after looking at professional pictures we got back, the second tier was completely off center. Not sure how this happened... but if I am spending lots of money for a cake, it should ABSOLUTELY reflect that. Also the monogram on the grooms cake was not a monogram. It looked very sloppy.

It pains me to write a negative review, but since my experience is similar to the previous customer, it seems to be a trend. We ordered our 10 yr vow renewal beach wedding cake to serve about 35 guests. The display was gorgeous and exactly what I wanted with all edible chocolate starfish and a gorgeous shell topper, with even brown sugar surrounding as sand. Breathtaking...with that being said, we did order vanilla gluten free cake inside. The flavor was horrible. Texture was incredibly dry and crumbly. No one finished their cake. Actually it was more like one bite taken, faces made and the rest thrown out. Talk about so embarrassing. I paid $350 for the cake(which I thought was a bit high to begin with) and emailed her afterwards about how embarrassed we were for our guests, and no response. Ive had so many gluten free cakes that taste just like regular cake to where no one even can tell. Most of the time the cake is just a bit heavier and not as fluffy. But the flavor tasted straight like cardboard. Very embarrassing and upsetting that there was no concern or response to us. Sad.....
