By far the worst salon i have ever been to. The staff was uninviting, it was the midddle of december here in NH and the walkway was not shoveled, sanded, or anything to make it safe. The owner spent the majority of her time while i was at my appointment talking about how much alcohol she had consumed the night before. My appointment was scheduled for over a week and my hair was not done right due to the lack of hair dye they had promised would be fully stocked and ready to go for me. A miscommunication of what day i was going to return to get my hair fixed, as it was not even CLOSE to what i had asked for, turned into the owner referring to me as “she” after i had said it was the owners responsibility to make sure everything is correct for their clients. I was refused a refund after said miscommunication and it then became clear the owner does not know how to be apologetic or how to deal with upset customers. Appalled by how I was treated and how unprofessional my complaint was taken care of. I would scream and holler to anyone wanting to go here to please rethink. Much better salons in the area than this. Not with your time or money.

Overall my experience here was not great... I wanted a balayage brown done and a trim. First of all, when I said I wanted a trim, Tiffany, my stylist, did not even bother to ask how much I wanted off and just started to cut... I understand that I could have specified as well, but as a professional, I think she should have clarified this with me. Now to the actual balayage. Because I had box dye in my hair, Tiffany told me that some parts may have a red tone because of it. That, to me, was acceptable so I went ahead and did it. Throughout the entire experience she did not communicate to me very well about what she was doing with my hair. I'm not sure what kind of toner she put in my hair, whether it was a warm or cool or even what color it was. I was a bit skeptical because I had only showed her, for a brief moment, a picture of the color I wanted once and she never asked to see it again... When Tiffany was finished, I only saw the front view, because she didn't bother to show me the back nor did she even ask if it was to my liking...When I first saw it, it looked OK, but that might have been because the lighting in the salon is not the greatest. The room is surprisingly poorly lit considering the amount of studio lights they have, the room also has natural light coming in through the windows at the same time which creates an awkward lighting overall. After having the hair for a day, there were a few things I noticed. First, the balayage itself was poorly done, there are blatant streaks of my black (my natural hair color) that were not balayaged, some of the color transition was also very sudden, as if the color just cuts right off. Most of my hair is actually still black...Secondly, the color overall was not uniform. Some parts were brown and then there were random streaks of hair that had a yellow greenish tone to it. So I decided to schedule another appointment to get it re-toned. I go in one day later, and another stylist (she did not tell me her name) agreed that there was in fact a greenish tone in my hair. When I asked why it was green and not red like Tiffany had said the day before, this stylist told me that box dye is unpredictable... This is another problem, I have one stylist telling me one thing and another stylist telling me something else... If it was so unpredictable, I should have been told that from the start... We go to the sink and she starts mixing a toner. When I ask what colors she was using, she gave me a vague response, something along the lines of "a mix of things"... So she applies the mystery product to my hair. After she blow dries my hair (which she did not completely dry...) I definitely notice that the green disappeared. So I paid for the toner and left. However, when I got home, I noticed that some of the lower layers of my hair was missed and did not get re toned and stayed yellowish green. Not only that, but some parts of my hair actually turned to an orange red hue. So I now have brown, orange and yellow in my hair. I think this patch of colors could have easily been avoided had the stylist taken more time to re tone my hair, she simply missed a few chunks of hair because of carelessness. I don't normally give bad reviews, but I spent a total of $250 here and I was really expecting something better. The stylists both times were poor at communicating and clarifying. Both seemed to have something to say about the box dye but what they had to say did not match. This made me feel like they didn't actually know what they were talking about which leads me to mistrust their professionalism. I will not be coming back here again. I will include a photo of the my hair now.

Absolutely love this place! They post all of their amazing work on Instagram which is how I found CCC. I had my first balayage session here with Jordan and loved my hair so much that I went back three weeks later for my second session! She listened to what I wanted and the ideas I had and transformed my hair into the perfect summer color. It is a very clean salon and everyone was so friendly. I would highly, highly recommend Creative Color & Cuts!

I've had multiple services here and absolutely love the place - I highly recommend any service by the owner Jill. She is professional, very nice, and does a fantastic job!
