This is a wonderful park to walk, explore and breath in the fresh air. The walking trails are a perfect length and the natural beauty of the grasses, trees and overall landscape can destress anyone. I have visited this park a few times and I highly recommend going with someone or your dog. In hot weather you have Rattlesnakes crawling around in the tall grass and hiding in many places, so vigilance is a must.

Very nice park with great trails to hike! Nice creek running along side of the trail. Bird blinds as well. Some picnic tables in nice shaded areas too. Will be back for sure!

A friend that lives in Cibolo took me to the park, and I loved it!  It was quiet on the trails on a Sunday morning and a perfect place to get in a short run/walk without pounding the pavement & dodging cars!  You'd have to do several laps to get in a lot of mileage but being out in nature is better than running through a neighborhood any day!

I didn't dislike the park. This used to be private land, but after the flood of 98 the government purchased in lieu of condemning. It doesn't always get the care it needs. It's quiet and peaceful, for the most part. There is much more traffic there than in the days I was a resident. The base is nearby so you have airline and jet noise. The Cibolo Creek is just a short walk, but, again, traffic can be heavy early morning and late afternoon.

Not too birdy today but lots of good trails and bird blinds provide a relaxing place
