Great place to camp. Little cold at night in October. Just bring someone to keep you warm. Had some drinking water on site filled up bottles before setting out on hike. Friendly care taker offered us some cheap wood that did the trick for couple of fires. Would stay again.

I wanted some good views of the Cathedral Rock and this place had it. A lot of families were picnicking here and kids were swimming in the water. Bring your bathing suits even if you don't intend to swim. In certain areas, the rocks can be very slippery or sharp. A few people walking around me slipped and got wet. 
I think the parking was $20 per vehicle. It feels like a place you'd come in early morning and just relax there all day. The employees were nice and were happy to answer my questions.
