The rooms are VERY nice and clean. The stuff are friendly and make you feel at home. Great location and easy to find. Also very adorable!!! Highly recommend this motel!!

My fiancé and I stayed at the motel after my band's performance at Cattales on New Year's Eve. The rooms aren't anything special, but they are much nicer than the outside of the motel would lead you to believe. Our room was very clean, and the beds and pillows were a lot more comfortable than at other motels I've stayed at that are in the same price range. We didn't do anything other than sleep and use the bathroom, but it was overall a really good experience. The motel is right next to the bar too, which is always nice!

We have been making The Crossroads Motel our home during hunting trips for over 15 years.  Kris and her family make us feel like family every year.  I would actually say they have went out of their way to make us feel welcome every time.  I think they truly understand us and our needs as well as the needs of their customers who come in to work in the area.  Communication is key in all relationships and when we have had to make changes in dates etc as long as we have let them know early enough so they could find other guests for the rooms it has worked out well.  We hope to see them each year for the next 15 years.  The prices are reasonable and you can't ask for nicer people.

I didn't stay here but here was my experience: Had a room booked for work.  My project got cancelled and I forgot to cancel my room (honest mistake, realized it when I was laying in bed at 11PM).  I had been in discussion with one of the owners (female) the previous evening that I might need to cancel.  I asked if she could please not charge me for the room because it would be hard to explain the charge to my company.  She sounded annoyed and said they were full and she had three people she could have rented the room to.  It seems like it would have been easy enough for her to call me since she knew there was a good chance I might cancel.  I guess it was just easier to charge me and not make the effort.

I understand they need to run their business but they don't seem to be very welcoming and treat potential guests very nicely (there was more than one phone call to judge this). I guess when there are limited options for hotels/motels in the area (this is the only one in Gwinner) you can afford to be rude to people.  So the motel might be a very nice place to stay, but don't expect to be treated well or get a break if you forget to cancel your room.

Great rates stayed there for hunting was able to have are dog will go back again
