Simple, down home, freshly made food at extremely reasonable prices. This place was a favorite of mine in the 90's when I was a college student, and I was amazed its still around 20+ years later when I returned to Tucson. Horchata is amazing, cheese enchiladas are awesome and not oily as other places, fresh salsa served with every meal is worth taking home and savoring the next day. You absolutely can't go wrong visiting this place.

Excellent food, large portions. Even the rice was great. The shrimp enchiladas were amazing, I couldn't eat it all, but have another meal waiting in the refrigerator for tomorrow.

Since 1936 this place has served Tucsonians with the best Mexican food. Never fails, count on good spicy food. It looks and feels just like Mexico. , It is wonderful. The murals are done by a local artist of renown, Luis Mena.

Great Mexican food and music. The servers are polite but the only thing that could be better is the buffet room. It's a bit small.

It was our first time there. They took for ever to take our order and the restaurant wasn't even full, the waitress did a really bad service on us & ignore us for the rest of the time that we were there. Also waited 1 hr for our food which was a party of three This will be the last time I come here.
