History of Crumpler Funeral Home:
1960-Frank and Dayne Crumpler moved to Raeford and opened the first funeral home while at the same time operating an ambulance service for the citizens of Hoke County. As time moved forward, the ambulance service was discontinued, but the same level of care and quality service that Frank began more than 50 years ago is still in place today.
1992-Frank and Dayne Crumpler purchased ½ interest in LaFayette Funeral Home. In 2011, the whole business was purchased and is currently being managed by Frank and Dayne’s son-in-law Rick Wilhide and their daughter, Kalen Crumpler Wilhide.
1997-Frank and Dayne bought what was at the time Dunahoe Funeral Home in Red Springs. Remodeling soon began after the purchase and continues to serve families in the Robeson County area to this day.
2005- Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford installed its very own crematorium.
2006-Frank and Dayne purchased what was at the time a 10 acre tract of land on US Highway 1 in Moore County, just north of Pinebluff. Converted what was an old farm house into a modern funeral home.
