It's probably the nearest cave and nature's amazing creation to NY or NJ. Nice place to visit once if you have not seen any other crystal cave before. Employees are nice and very accommodating. Natural beauty at your door step. They have ample parking which is free. Also they have a gift shop as well small cafeteria with ice cream parlor. I will specifically give 5 stars to the lady working in the cafeteria...!!! She is amazing and takes care of customers very nicely.

Nice family outing on a rainy day. Small, family owned and operated, guide-led, commercial artificial lit cave experience. Neat history of early 1900s visitors. The cave is maintained and each guide is versed in history and general geology. Visitors center and inn are quaint and a little kitchy. A fun experience overall.

Interesting space to spend a few hours. The video before the tour could used some updated. The cave isn't for anyone with a fear of heights or is claustrophobic. The lights out part of the tour was neat. Panning for gems is a must do for kiddos

We took our boys now 3 and 5 two years ago. I did not expect to be wowed cause I have been there several times. However for $16 pp I expect not to be directly across from the tour group before us. Our group was large so I could barely hear what our guide was saying on top of another guide talking at the same time. Also our guide seemed to know nothing more than what the formations in the cave looked like. It was better last time when we went on a weekday. They do however have a little mini golf course, mining sleeuce and nature trail in addition to the cave.
