We love it,especially meat dept Steve and his team always help us to meet our needs. Likely  Indian way they cut it as small pieces to make our cooking easy. We recommend to our friends family.

I ordered a cake from this Cub Foods location last week, and I would rate my experience a one out of five. I would also rate it a one if the scale went up to 100 or 1 million.

I needed a specialty cake (a "poop" cake) for a family birthday. I placed the initial order on Monday. The woman I spoke to seemed less than enthusiastic and less than sure about my order, so I offered to return the next day with a photo, which I did. 

I had spoken to a different person on Tuesday, so I followed up with a phone call on Wednesday to see if the information for my order made sense, and offered to stop by again later that day (I work nearby) or the next day, and also confirmed that they had my phone number if they had any questions.

Friday I picked up the cake as scheduled. And it was a disaster. If the cake had been a junior high home economics project, a D would have been generous. The key elements I'd requested were missing entirely, and the others were mediocre at best. 

As I was explaining this to the bakery employee, I noticed what I thought was another customer sort of lurking on the edge of my conversation. Without identifying himself, this man (who turned out to be the bakery manager, just there shopping at the time) asked if there was a problem. I started at the top of my list of complaints, and only THEN was I told that their rules would not allow them to make the cake I'd requested. 

In the only gesture even coming remotely close to good customer service, the manager offered to add the elements that were missing from the cake. Three minutes later, my cake had been upgraded from a D junior high home ec project to a solid C-. The best things about the cake were that they spelled "Happy Birthday" and my family member's name correctly (though in tiny letters, as if there was a frosting shortage), and that it was, as ordered, a chocolate cake.

My story had a happy ending (I was able to find another bakery that made an absolute HOME RUN of a cake on Saturday), but no thanks to the people at Cub.

The chillest grocery store with the finest in chips and salsa. For those with midnight munchies: they're open late!
