Their foods are low quality, fruits are old, artificial and taste like plastic, on top of it everything there is ridiculously overpriced!!! For the last year I've been shopping at Cub only for bottled water, and occasionally buying seasonal produce on sales. Lately that store stopped selling the drinking water I used to buy, most deals are either horrible or on junk foods me and my family don't ever buy. I wish Woodmans from Wisconsin would open a store here in the Cities, so this pathetic worthless company named Cub could be driven out of business.

P.S. And I didn't even want to give Cub 1 star.... it doesn't deserve it.

This Cub Foods is in a convenient place. Right by Wal-Mart & Target.

I like the produce section of this store, and its organic produce section is pretty good for a large chain grocery store.  I would not buy fresh fish here on a bet, I took home a tray of tilapia fillets.  While cleaning the fish I found a live worm, probably a parasite (since I can't think of how else a live worm would end up under the plastic in a tray of cleaned fish. Just to clarify: I would not be happier to find a dead worm in my fish, any worm at all is too many).  I brought this tray to the customer service section and showed them the worm.  They were not particularly concerned about it, and offered me a refund or exchange.  It was the attitude of the people who encountered the worm more than anything else that led me to believe I wouldn't be buying any more meat at this location.  
But for packaged groceries, especially ethnic ingredients, and for produce, I continue to come to this store.

I don't even like giving it any stars. This pharmacy department is very unethical and mean. They made me wait on hold forever, about fifteen minutes, then I hung -up agian and they did the same thing! I have serious illness, I had my Doctor call in a percribtion on a saturday, becasue that is when my attack started. I could not leave the house because I was in so much pain. My Doctor gave the pahrmist more information that was needed and the pharmacist would not fill it because he was not in his direct office, he was on call. He provided them even with his cell phone number and they still would not fill it. My Doctor has never dealth with a pharmacy as rude as this and will tell his patients not to use Cub for it's pharmacy. Equally I have heard their prices are rediculous and they buy and give out the cheapest generics from companies to save money, which definately far from some generics that react just the same as the brand medication.
