These pediatrician get one star more than they deserve. They failed to explain my rights as a patient, and care more about money than they do of their patients. Thankfully they showed their true colors prior to establishing a relationship with me or my children. The refused to treat my son due to missing an appointment that they scheduled a week later from when my son was sick. By the time the appointment came he was much better because I had taken him to a walk in and they treated my son and showed real compassion. That is the most important characteristic that any health care professional can show as I work in the medical field and know the games. Their number one priority should be to establish a trust wortby relationship. Because they had a scheduled visit and we did not show, they lost out on an insurance claim, because if they knew we weren't going to make it, they could have scheduled another patient and placed a claim for that patient to their insurance. I had not yet seen this doctor and was not informed of this policy, but they refused to make an acception this one time. Torrington has a bad rep for physicians and I should have known better than to transfer my children to a local pediatrician. Never again and this office just proved it. I would not recommend this physician if my life depended on it because I might die waiting for the appointment. I hope concerned parents who are looking for a local pedi really take this into account. We are consumers of health care and have that right to be Informed verbally and in writing, which this practice has failed to do. Please....know your rights and embrace them.

Dr.s Curi and Magda are both wonderful, kind, responsive, warm doctors who put my children and me immediately at ease. We have had several medical issues that were handled quickly, compassionately, professionally and effectively. I would highly recommend this practice.
