The staff is very nice and helpful. The camp store is fully stocked with everything you would need for a stay on the Current River. Sites are large, and many have full hookups. Don't expect a quiet stay until late evening quiet hours are in effect. A lot of people go to Current River to party. Even the camp store sells beer and liquor. The campground is big enough to accommodate large groups also. There was a large church group of probably a 100 people or more there the last time we stayed.

Cool place to camp but way too expensive. We will find a gravel bar to camp on next time.

We stayed here a few weeks ago and I honestly hate to see some of these negative reviews. The lady I spoke with while making the reservation for our campsite was very sweet, thorough in explaining the process and rules and honest about damage from the flood. She told me the campsites were sandy and a bit damaged but they were working very hard to rebuild. When my friends, family, and I arrived everything was well organized and ready to go. We checked in, got our wrist bands and paid the clean site deposit. They had a guy guide us down to our site and go over the rules and such with us. He was just as cheerful as ever, too. The site was sandy, but hey... it's camping and they are working hard to get everything back together! We were charged what was expected. The shower houses were also clean and well maintained which is a huge plus! I just wanted to leave this review to say thank you for a great experience! We will definitely be staying here in the future.

I can't believe this would get anything over 1 star. We waited 3 hours to float, when we got to the spot to get in none of the rafts were even inflated so they did it one by one. I realize floating is by the landing but seriously they're staff was responsible for loading people up. The staff at check in is very unfriendly and we were told to keep it down at 10pm but it was a site behind us hooting and hollering, we were quiet. But I've never, ever been to a campsite where they've asking someome to be quiet before 11 on the quiet side (and even later on the party side )

A wonderful place to camp...we have been going for two years and this year will be three! Married couples trip and we have a blast each year! Wonderful staff and great camp sites!
