Whether you are visiting us for the first time or are one of our loyal clients, its our goal to make you feel like family. For over 25 years, the name Melanie's Cutting Edge has been synonymous with the latest in hair trends and the most innovative services.

We have a wonderful staff here at the Cutting Edge, here are some introductions from our sassy ladies.

Melanie Brown(Owner/Stylist) - Born and raised in Polk County. Have 2 sons, a daughter, 2 daughter n laws and 2 G-Babys that are my world. I have been involved with promotions and events with our community. To name a few; Rockin On The River, Gator Crawl, Blues Fest and Boys &Girls Cub as well as several charity events in the area.I'm also an instructor at Elite Fitness Gym, a promoter at Brown Forman with Jack Daniels, and my newest venture is selling ads with Today & Tonight Magazine. I'm here for all of my clients not only as a stylist but as a friend and I think of you all as family. Hope to see you all at Melanies Cutting Edge.

Jennifer Lyons (Stylist) I was born and raised in Florida and have been here all my life. I am a mother to a beautiful daughter who is my life and doing hair is my passion. Saturday 9:00am - 3:00pm
Walk-ins are welcome! But if you have a certain stylist you would like to book with, we encourage you to make an appointment.
