Amanda gave me a beautiful precision haircut which I HATE!!. two stars for that. Why? When I sat in her chair I explained EXACTLY what I wanted which was a trim around the nap of my neck which would allow my almost..grown..out..bob to be what I wanted. I even said " I know this is a bit unorthodox". She agreed with my logic, she said she understood. And then proceeded to cut it SHORT. Now I have 10 MORE months of growth and adjusting for my hair to be what I want. BECAUSE SHE DID NOT LISTEN to anything I said. Every day, I am disgusted with my haircut. Maxine...disgusted.

I've seen the same stylist for ten years prior to to Cutting Edge. Having to change stylists and trust they will work with you is extremely nerve raking, as most women can relate. I was prepared that I may not be 100% satisfied, especially since she was going to have to get to know me, my hair texture, colics, shape of head and color levels. When you go to a styalist, please remember, if you bring in a picture a Jennifer Aniston, your not going to look like her, your NOT her! They are stylists, not fairy godmothers. I was referred to Amanda P. and was thrilled with my entire experience, so much so I just made my second appointment. When I called they were closed, Amanda promptly called me back (same day, 2 hrs later) and was able to get me in three weeks before Christmas, I was amazed! I never expected to get in before Christmas, however, wanted to get on her books just incase there was a cancellation. I love the Salon, location and the "family" feeling I see when I go. Chit Chat, relaxing, laughing and when I leave, I feel great! Thanks Amanda P. and all the Staff at Cutting Edge.

The Cutting Edge Girls make what a "Fun Day at The Salon" should be. Amanda has been doing my hair since the salon opened. She is direct in her color consultation and innovative in her suggestions. Each girl at the salon is respectful of their client and creative in their work. A great place to go to and relax!

Recently vistited this salon and I would NOT recommend it to anyone! The owner, Michelle has no idea what customer service is. She's unfriendly and simply rude. I can't speak to the other staff but Michelle is not pleasant. I understand the customer is not always right but I do feel its important to work with your customers to ensure both parties can walk away and feel satisfied. Not Michelle, its all about her.
