What a debacle to get a script filled. Our regular pharmacy (that we are required to use per our insurance) did not have a liquid form of our daughter’s medicine in stock. Out of convenience for my husband to pick up on his way home, I called the Derwood CVS, was told the medicine was in stock, and he would call our regular pharmacy to get the script transferred. I also explained to him that we would pay out of pocket for the script since our insurance wouldn’t cover it there. An hour later, our regular pharmacy called, CVS never called them to transfer the script. They faxed it twice. I called CVS, they claimed they “just received it” and it would take an hour to fill. Just after my husband left to pick it up, they called again to say our insurance wouldn’t cover it and they would have to process it as a cash transaction. I told the woman I had explained this 3 hours previously to the first man. The script was filled unflavored and smells awful, and no dosage cup or syringe. Never using this stupid pharmacy again.

Good place to stop by and grab a few items.  Always fully stocked.  Only issue is that this place has long lines due to the store always being understaffed.

The pharmacist who I encountered should not be working there. She refused to tell me if my particular prescription was in stock so I came for nothing. None of the CVS stores carry it or at least say they don'the have it in stock after you get there. Many make you come in for nothing.

Shop at the mom and pop pharmacies for your meds. I will continue to do so. They are a lot more personable and friendly.

I've never been into a CVS that has excellent customer service in the pharmacy dept.. including the supervisor who was very helpful with my discount inquire. I didn't know about this location but now will be. Keep it up with the good customer service!
