7 mo pregnant and not feeling well at all. I called CVS after waiting 2 hours when my doctor called in my prescription for a "it's ready" phone call. Apparently they do not do this at this location. I'm glad I called before borrowing a car to go get my meds. The woman, I believe her name was Aujane answered the phone and said "please hold" and immediately put me on hold. When she returned she told me that they need new insurance information to process the prescription. I stated that my insurance was current. Then she said "wait, it's on hold cuz it's $165 co pay w/your insurance." I asked her why I wasn't contacted for either concern and that we could have cleared it up over the phone. Basic communication right? She said they" don't call they just wait until we arrive." What? That makes no sense. Then we discussed the fact that I could pick up a partial prescription for $30 and return later for the remaining when I had the funds. She became a bit frustrated with my questions, cut me off and she said "ok we'll see you soon." I was actually still talking at this time. I arrived at the location 15 min later and they told me, "it's not ready yet. Give us 30 min." I became very upset and explained that I had just called them. I'm so thankful another gal was helping me because she felt my plight and rushed the processing to 7 min! This is why I give them atleast 1 star. I found out that Charlie is the manager and will be in soon so I will call her and email her a copy of this review. Just a warning. So many locations. Usually no issues. Thanks!

Hassle after hassle after hassle getting my prescriptions filled here. This one takes the cake. I left work early (no small feat) to speed across town and get to CVS before the pharmacy closed. I got there ten minutes to six. The pharmacist took my prescription, typed a little on the computer, then said it would be ready tomorrow. I said I need it tonight (it's pretty important that I not skip doses--like, risking death important) and she said it's too close to closing for them to fill it. Um, no, you're still open so you still do your job. Closing time is when you stop taking customers, not when you leave. And its not as if they would have to count out pills or anything. All they had to do was grab a bottle. Grab a bottle, and that was just too much for these lazy "eight and skates". Never going back here again.

I am a loyal customer to this CVS the reason for that is because of the following. I always receive Amazing service from the store Manager Nery. He is very courteous and knowledgeable with all the questions that ive had over time . Great attitude and even though the location of the store is in a ghetto/ rough area the store it self has a positive atmosphere with a the staff radiating good vibes that's the reason i shop at this location only and have been a loyal customer hopefully the rest of the area follows suite and it improves the negative image.
