Family owned and ran restaurant. Always very clean. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Not a large menu, but everything on it is well prepared from excellent food and cooked to perfection. And one of the two spots in Hemet/San Jacinto which have excellent brewed ice tea, not that instant stuff offered at other establishments. One of my favorite places to eat.

Nice, quaint, old-fashioned. Great food, great service, great menu and prices.... honestly just a wonderful little place, so glad we found it. The crowd is a little older (I'm 40) and that suits me just fine. I go there with my father-in-law all the time now. Sometimes it's just me and the ole lady...sometimes we take the kids. You'll notice immediately that the place is full of regulars. DJ's is a local hidden gem. It has officially replaced half a dozen other local breakfast spots in our family.

The food was really really good and the prices were good as well. The half of French toast which is two slices of bread and it’s huge it was only The half of French toast which is two slices of bread and it’s huge was only $4.50. Large waffle with strawberries and whipped cream only $5.75. It was nice and crispy. I had corn beef hash and it was nice and crispy. That atmosphere is very nice as well. I will be coming back for sure
