Story

D'Raymonds has intimate seating, brick walls with mural windows, dim lighting and wood beams that give a touch of old-world charm.

While the interior is inviting, the real stars are the meals are the real stars. D' Raymond's is known for its sauces, veal, pasta and fresh seafood. Wonderful Chicken Frangelico. At least one of the ten best dishes I have had in my entire life. Pleasant softly lit surroundings and quiet on a holiday Monday at lunch. I would definitely go back the next time I am in the Albany area. Great menu selections even at lunch with many distinctive choices, unlike most Italian restaurants. Food was perfectly cooked and seasoned. You are certain to find something to appeal to you. Moderate prices make this a great value.

The food is always delicious. Now for the bad. This place is not kid friendly. The greeter seemed put off that we arrived with a 10 month old infant and then were told they do not have high chairs. We were then sat right by the bar and front door. My wife and I never realized this as we had only gone there as a couple or picked up food for take out.

Wonderful service and an incredible meal! Definitely will come here again. The only difficulty was selecting one item from such a diverse list when everything would have been delicious.

Do Raymond's never disappoints. The food was exceptional and the service was first rate. It's my go to restaurant when I want good Italian food.

The food, the staff, the ambience is awesome. Just don't go without a reservation unless you're prepared to wait. It's not the best kept secret in town. It's just the best Italian restaurant in town.
