Understaffed Long waiting time Difficult parking Good food  I got a spicy dish even though I said I want mild. I was waiting for a long time for my wine and even much longer for the main dish. My 12 years old daughter almost fell asleep. Servant was chaotic but nice and tried to make up all of the mistakes. Overall, the food was good. The desert was very good.  tiramisu  The other thing is, if you want bread with oil and you are gluten-free, you have to pay for it. If you are not gluten-free, they give it to you free. I think maybe add some cents to your other positions in the menu and don't make this awkward situation when not gluten-free people eating and starving gluten-free people watching.. I felt Like I'm in Palermo! Same feel, different continent. Worth every penny I spend in this magical Italy! Beautiful, spotless and wonderful staff! Thank you for existing after all the drama that hit restaurants this past year. P.s they have amazing gluten free menu!

The food here was incredible and had huge portions! I was able to have gluten free bread, the bruschetta appetizer, and gluten free lasagna for the first time since getting diagnosed with celiac disease! Our waitress Therese was so sweet and gave us the best service. We were celebrating for my friends bachelorette party and she gave us a great experience. I will definitely be coming back. Best gluten free pasta... Possibly ever! Its a great old school Italian restaurant with amazing food, and an actual variety of gluten free options.  UPDATE: 5 years since the last review. We continue frequenting Da Luciano's and loving it every time we are there. We've gotten catering from them twice for 2 parties and everyone raved about the food!  Some day, I'll remember to save the pizza coupons and get a free pizza, but somehow in the rush of burning the roof of my mouth, because it's just sooo good,  we forget to save them.  I've got 13, so very close!  Almost forgot, the veggie pizza is great!

Great food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere and decor. Portions are large and can be easily shared. I recommend the Lasagna or rigatoni with vodka sauce as a main course, both are excellent options. Pizza is amazing as well, thin and crunchy crust and just the right amount of cheese and sauce.

The best Gluten Free Italian restaurant in the NW Chicago area. This is basically the only restaurant I can get all my taste buds excited. Lasagna, cannolis, creme puffs, mozzarella wedges, pizza bread, the list just goes on! If you are gluten free, be sure to put this restaurant on your list!Food: 5/5

Gluten-free options galore! Everything was delicious. I had the Gluten-free calamari, manicotti and cannoli. Taking home a gluten free tiramasu for later!  Dietary restrictions: A whole page of Gluten-free options to choose from the menu. The staff was very cognizant of making sure everything I received was the Gluten-free option.

Oh my! This place is wonderful. We are not locals almost 500 miles away!, but if we were locals, we would go here at least weekly. They offer a VERY extensive gluten free menu, including appetizers and desserts!  The service and the quality and quantity of the food all were wonderful!! The first night we emptied our plates and took dessert to go, the second night we had leftovers and dessert to take home. Gluten free fried calamari and gluten free cannoli!  My first time seeing either anywhere. My husband even asked for something that was not exactly on the menu-veal parmigiana with Alfredo sauce and linguine. If you are looking for true, delicious Italian food, that makes you think of grandma's cooking, this is where you want to go. Even if it means a long trip!

Ordered pizza and chicken parmigiana however received an eggplant parmigiana instead. Kids wouldn’t eat it.  Pizza was good.Food: 2/5

Just received my order 11/18/20of two orders of chicken parmigiana in VODKA Sauce and mostaccioli and it could have been great! But it was SUPER salty especially the Chicken! My wife And daughter was to share an order and  they barely ate half of it! I am a beast in eating  and I only could finish half of my order.  Really disappointed!  Thank you for making things right- remake was perfect!!!!
