WOW!
 This restaurant was an excellent find! We traveled to Hendersonville to meet a relative, and saw this restaurant listed in one of the tourist magazines at the NC Welcome Center. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We were absolutely floored once we got our food. The chicken was fried to perfection, and the macaroni and cheese was unreal. We went back the next week for their Sunday buffet. Everything was excellent!
 The cook told me that they were rated one of the best restaurants in North Carolina, but due to the location, are not well known. 

 If you are traveling anywhere near this location, or don't live too far away, you owe it to yourself to come and give it a try. This restaurant will be permanently starred on my map! 
 I would have posted photos, but I could not keep the food on my plate long enough!

Went for the Sunday buffet and it was some quality fried goodness. Fried chicken, fried pork chops the size of your face, collards, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, coleslaw, black eyed peas and more. This is a modest, delicious, homestyle restaurant. Make time to take a nap after you go.

Best fried chicken I have ever had since my granny's so many years ago!!!! I'm still drooling.  The mac & cheese and the collards were out of this world too.  So glad I found this place.  And the staff are the nicest people you will ever meet. Will be back soon!

Great food! The fried pork chops are so good! Friendly staff with excellent service. There could have been more gluten-free meats on the buffet for my wife (celiac), but what was there was delicious!

Absolutely blown away. The family atmosphere fit the generosity and warmth of the staff very well. The food was incredibly good. Haven't found anything that's come close in a long time. I could not recommend this place enough. Go check it out, you will not be disappointed.
