It's a cool bar and grill in 9th Street in Durham. It's not a huge place. The service was great. I assume you just try to find a seat as it's a bit smaller of an establishment. Some pretty good bar type foods are offered. All the food we tried was pretty good. Big selection of bottles and can beer. Only a couple of draft selections and a full bar..
A small humble bar with big delicious burgers. They offer a large variety of options to customize your burger. If you don't mind a mess, may I suggest the sweet beef chili.Food: 5/5
Grabbed lunch at Dain's Place and I was instantly impressed. The atmosphere was great with solid music playing. The bartender got to me quickly and my beer was ice cold. I got dog loaded with mustard, slaw, red onions and their homemade sweet meat chili. The chili had great flavor and was nice and hot. The fries were very good as well.

We had burgers with fries. Ordered medium-rare and cooked perfectly. They have a good selection of local beers on tap, notably a great kolsch that was light and refreshing. A delightful lunch. The decor is heavy wood there’s a huge wooden propeller? and the interior lighting is appropriate for a neighborhood bar.

Unfortunately waited 10 minutes for somone to greet me. I was tired of waiting so I left. They should do a better job of greeting guests when they arrive. I wonder how many more people come here and leave the same way I did?Service: 1/5
This place is DISGUSTINGLY GREAT! Food was AMAZING for "bar food". The Ruben was tender, stuffed, on crisp marble rye! Loaded tots were like 1lb+ and the beer was cold!
Really good burgers at a good priceI love the dainer. The only reason I don't give this one more star is due to the fact that it is a bar and I only come here for food. I have not tried their mixed drinks. I have not stayed to drink as it is a place for younger college kids during the evening. If that's what you're into, then you would probably like this place . I do find the number of TVs they have to be unnecessary for the people who go there to socialize. Dietary restrictions: You can request lettuce wrap for your burger if you are keto or T1D.
