I have enjoyed this Dairy Queen since 1990. They always have a stable staff and great service. Parking lot is available. Grant Park is across the street so you get a great View.

So I don't normally write reviews but I will today. So around 330 today I ordered a number 2 which is the flame thrower burger. I asked for no bacon because I can not eat pork and the kid read my order back to me and made sure to say no bacon. But yet I get my food I ate my fries first and sandwich after. Why is it that you repeat my order and once I get my order it's wrong. Kinda upset but I still aye it anyways. Just please listen to your customers next time. We are not all assholes trying to give you a hard time. I've worked in the hospitality industry and I know how this feels to get a review like this. Please next time no bacon. That is all I ask.

Been coming here since I was a kid and now I bring my littles here too! We haven't gone often, but Wednesday nights after visiting the library, we'd bring the kiddos here for a special treat! Friendly customers, great location down the street from the library and outside Grant Park. Used to stop here after school when the Middle School was at the old location. Made for easier 30min walks home in the summer!

Vindictive owner. Stay away!  We have been going there since my daughter was little, and Dorothy and her daughter always made us feel uncomfortable.  My daughter was slapped by one of the customers (she was only three at the time), and I called the police. The lady was arrested (she had previous drunken charges), but Dorothy never let us forget that. Today we went in and she was hostile to us (my daughter is now an adult and attending college), and she was very nasty, sold us ice cream that had hard bits in in, some of which didn't melt, so I knew it wasn't ice.  I asked Dorothy if we could return it or simply have our money back, and her response was "No, and don't call again!"  I now feel very sick with stomach cramps and diarrhea.  My sister reports that every time she eats there, she gets sick as well.  Not a customer friendly place and poor service.  It is nice they have their friends write reviews.
